Last night, while at the Barnacle in Marblehead with Gary Arndt of Everything Everywhere, a waitress walked by with a Bloody Mary and the couple at the table next to us asked if we’d ever had a Lobster Bloody Mary. Apparently, Nantucket’s Brant Point Grill (a.k.a. BPG) in the White Elephant Hotel serves up a colossal, over-the-top Lobster Bloody Mary. While I’m not a big Bloody Mary fan, Gary added that he thought a good Bloody Mary consisted of half drink and half salad. With a quarter pound of Lobster meat on the skewer, the $25 gem of a Bloody Mary at BPG can serve as brunch itself.
