My recent visit to Girona happened to coincide with Girona’s Festival of Flowers, or the Temps de Flor. A tradition for over 50 years, the festival draws large numbers of visitors to Girona’s old city every May. During the festival, visitors to Girona will see (and smell) the flower theme throughout the city’s streets, courtyards and alleyways with especially unique and colorful displays garnishing the historic buildings.
