This past week, while in Cerdanya (a region of the eastern Pyrenees which is divided between France and Spain), I had the opportunity to head up in a small plane for a spectacular scenic look at the beautiful landscape of the Cadi mountain range and the Pyrenees.
My flight from La Cerdanya Aerodrome took me over some beautiful spots. It also presented me with the chance to shoot some great aerial photographs above the towns of Puigcerda as well as Llivia. An interesting bit of trivia about Llivia is that while the town is a part of Catalonia, it is completely surround by France.
Another great place to do this is in Peru, over the Nazca lines… That’s about 400 south of Lima, if my memory serves me well.
